Videos: Big Band Meets Big Fun

This year MCFA sponsored an evening of entertainment at the Mercersburg Lions Club Fair. Spectrum performed a variety of big band tunes while the Lindy Hop Dancers gave free swing and foxtrot dance lessons.

Local Potter achieves National Recognition

Janine Davis, of MoonDog Pottery in Welsh Run, Pa, has had one of her ceramic pieces selected as part of the 17th Annual Strictly Functional Pottery National.

This is a juried exhibit of functional ceramics. There were 1,252 pieces entered from 46 states and DC and only 108 selected.

The exhibit runs Saturday, September 26 to Sunday, October 25, 2009

Calling All Artists: Nancy Horton Heefner Memorial Art Show

The Mercersburg Historical Society is sponsoring the Nancy Horton Heefner Memorial Art Show from September 13th through September 27th. Artists interested in submitting work for this non-juried show should contact Joan McCulloh at 717-328-2248. Entry forms are due by Monday, August 17th.
